At the heart of the SamcoXDB hoses is a multi-ply silicone core which is hand-made using multiple layers of silicone rubber reinforced with specialist fabrics. Using 3 or 4 layers of Nomex® fabrics where necessary, to withstand temperatures up to 250 degrees celcius . In addition, specially formulated "flouro-silicone" is used for lining the Turbo hoses to provide optimum resistance to oil vapour. Then an extra 4th or 5th Nomex® high temperature ply is added. This gives maximum protection from radiant heat sources under the bonnet, protecting the core hose from heat ageing effects - vital when engine ventilation is reduced such as when the vehicle is used in low speed off-road work. Designed to withstand the harshest conditions, and with a lifetime guarantee, no other silicone hose can compare.

All our Silicone boost hoses come with a special grey coloured Oil resistant liner, To prevent oil vapour from discolouring the finish of your hoses. This is a very important feature of Silicone hoses, to ensure they last well into the future.

Samco Sport's hose clips are made from high quality stainless steel, and have a much wider band than the standard clips. These also have rounded edges, and so do not cut into the hoses, like cheaper hose clips. These clip kits are exactly the same for Discovery and Defender Td5 models, so one fits all.
